Bunch of new stuff online from the Younger Leaders Summit.
Audio Clips and Slide Show: Should be more online in a few days, but here's what they've put up. I'm very frustrated that none of Chris Seay is up. He said some really good things. Arrgh. UPDATE: Lifeway's site now indicates there are technical glitches with Seay's talk that will be fixed soon.

Draper Calls for "Revolution" at Younger Leaders Summit (by my buddy Chris Turner)
Somebody better have a really, awesomely good reason for Chris' audio not being available. If this is a command decision by somebody, then it is unacceptable.

No doubt about it Marty. A mutual friend told us to hold these guys to the fire. Let's do just that.

Steve,
Thanks to you and over 300 other young ministers who participated in the summit yesterday at the Global Cafe. I appreciate your summary of the events. I thought every speaker was exceptional. I had no idea what anyone was going to say, and was thrilled at the passion, diversity and devotion to the message of the Gospel. I was greatly blessed by all of you who attended. I do pray that this is a beginning and not an ending!

Steve,
I was at the YL Summit yesterday. From what I am reading from you I believe that we are on the same page, but I am conserned about this "they owe me" mentality that us younger guys have. Check out "Thoughts from the SBC - Day 1" on my blog (youthguyblog.blogspot.com) for my complete thoughts on the YL Summit. Let me know if I am way off he.

I've been trying to follow the SBC via some blogs, including this one. I'm mystified by the whole Young Leaders thing. What's it about? It seems meant to overcome some sort of marginalization of younger leaders within SBC?. What's the marginaliation? And it seems to marginalize, by bracketing out a group that somehow needs to be dealt with in a special way.
Can anyone help enlighten me? Just (very) curious and don't know anything about where it's coming from . . .
