I feel like saying something. I'm not sure why. So I'll say this...If I were to take a picture of my day at this moment, here's what would be written in a long caption.
"At 2:49pm Steve was drinking Coke with a generous amount of lime juice, listening to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, working on his sermon on John 2:1-11, coughing from a bad cold, and watching the first flakes fall in the first significant snow storm of the winter."
and my caption would read-- "Great Band. Did you pick that up on my recommendation?"

Yes I did. I'm really diggin it. I find most of my music on metacritic and then if you recommend it too, it's almost a sure thing.

Steve, Steve . . . there are much more productive things that can be added to coke for those who are suffering from a bad cough, but seeing as how you were doing sermon prep you probably went the right route - blessings and health as you administer the word tomorrow.

And all of that would be true. But what was the intended outcome of the speech/act? Post generation most likely.
Still, aside from the Coke, it sounds lovely. For me it was sipping on Tetly tea, listening to a mix from iTunes with the theme of praise, and translating Jonah 2 for Hebrew Exegesis (which is something I was supposed to have done a month ago so I'm catching up but it is helpful since I will be teaching it in High School Sunday School next week as a project for another class). It all works together...
My intended speech/act? Just to sympathize with Steve. Rock on brother-man.
