I'm considering making conference going my full time job this year. It could be like a new hippie movement that just follows these guys around in SUV's (not VW vans), smokes pipes (not joints), and wears ties (not tie-dye). Anyone with me?

Not if I have to wear a tie.

No doubt great guys, but is anyone else bothered by "The Supremacy of Christ AND..."?
Posted by: Lee | 01/30/2006 at 02:16 PM
I am so going to be there! You planning on going?

Wow, this is great. I have about 12 pages left to read in Wells' book and would love to go to this. Since I don't live anywhere near Minneapolis I'll have to get the audio messages.

I dunno Tim. IF I can, I will. No question.
Ryan, how have you liked the book? It's on my "to read" list.

Yeah, I'm not going. Didn't see the "AND."

Lee,
Take "supremacy of Christ" as one unit and the word after "and" as a second unit. It's not the supremacy of two things, but the supremacy of Christ and how it relates to ____.

Haha. If Piper can be accused of anything, it's NOT equating the supremacy of Christ and anything else.

At the conference, we should have a blogger get-together or something for lunch or dinner.

BTW, I didn't get to read Radical Reformission but my wife snagged it. After she got past some of the crude language, she loved it. She's gone missional now. She's been assimiliated.
Thanks for throwing it my way Steve!

It does look pretty cool. Although I recently heard Voddie speak at a collegiate retreat and was quite unimpressed at how unoriginal his talk was. I had just heard all this hype about him and it didn't quite match up.
I'm sure everyone else would make up for that deficiency though.

Voddie's did a fabulous job at the conference. When the free audio gets up at desiringgod.org it's a must listen.
