I'm bored, so here is another one of my pictures. Maybe I'll make this a weekly diversion. If you care to, describe this picture in a few words. How does it make you feel?

I'd call it "lift off" because it looks like the silo is a rocket shooting out smoke as it prepares to go to space...

It reminds of all the cold sunny winter mornings that I've ever experienced. A little nostalgic... sledding with dad, jogging in snow...

Reminds me of a typical field from my home Ohio. except a few too many trees. windy. shivering. cold. nose running. warmth of house finally. to thaw out.

also some bright sunny skies, unlike west Michigan this time of year.

It reminds me of myself...weathered and beaten by the elements, yet, by the grace of my Father, still standing amongst the cold, freezing, dead terrain. It's my life at the University of Kentucky.

intropective, isolated, not worthy of my surroundings, eerily quiet, my best, adequate times are over....

looks like something I would see on my way to work in the morning.

Haiku on a picture by Steve McCoy
Lipstick in the fog.
Seems silly--I rub my eyes.
Where are my glasses?

Haha. Great haiku. Like Queen Kong lipstick.

My toes are cold, almost numb...I'm out of coffee and the truck should have picked me up 30 minutes ago. Suddenly I see movement along the line of trees that borders the field. My heart begins to race as a trophy whitetail steps into the clear....The snow turns red, I've forgotten my toes- There is backstrap on the tanle tonight.

Hope you don't mind, but I'm using this one as my wallpaper. We've had a very, very mild winter.

Billy Bob: Where'd all the grass go?
Bobby Jack: And, why ain't there no cows?
Billy Bob: I dont think we're in Texas no more.
Bobby Jack: Where else could we be? Ain't Texas the only country in the world?

Looks to me like you had some funky filter over the bottom half, or it maybe you're just trying to be like Monet and swish things up a bit so the image isn't clear.

how exactly is the person supposed to get to the silo if it's in the bushes?
