If you haven't found it yet, you need to head over to the Criswell Journal site and check out their new issue on the Emerging Church. You can read an interview with Brian McLaren and Mark Driscoll's article "A Pastoral Perspective on the Emergent Church." Kudos to Criswell guys like Alan Streett and Denny Burk who obviously know how to draw a crowd to a theological journal site. Well done, and here's to thoughtful conversation on the Gospel.
I can't stop laughing about the audio. Man that's great.

Thanks for plugging our journal on your blog. For those who want to know, the articles by Mark Driscoll and Brian McLaren are available for download at our site. I will post Hammett's article in the coming weeks.
Thanks,
Denny Burk
P.S. What's with the low-brow humor? :)

It's not low-brow, it's Lowenbrau. :)

P.S.S. I am a teetotaler. I was raised by parents who are teetotalers. Yet somehow that song still reminds me of my childhood. How can that be?

Because you squandered your young life in front of the TV? ;)

Steve,
I thought it was interested that Stetzer has added in a subcategory of "Reformed Relevants", and who he chose as the heroes. I commented on that at my blog.
If you were going to be labeled, given the definitions Stetzer/Driscoll provided, you would run away from being labeled Relevant?
It's interesting to think that people are probably sitting on the fence on what they should think about Driscoll - in that he distances himself from Emergent and isn't very antagonistic toward the emerging movement at large.

Sorry, I intended for that question to be an actual question and not a string of words.
2nd try:
If you were going to be labeled, given the definitions Stetzer/Driscoll provided, would you run away from being labeled "Relevant"?
