My predictions? An all SEC final. Today LSU will beat UCLA and Florida will beat George Mason. In the final on Monday night Florida will defeat LSU.

No way... this is UCLA's year. They'll take out Florida for the title.

Steve, if your "prediction" does not come true you must be stoned. Wait, that can mean... nevermind.

Watching UCLA while stoned is a requirement. Right SEZ? You also have to listen to Snoop Dog.

See? This is where all that liberal, missional, postmodern talk gets you. Now you're extolling to virtue of getting "crunk."

LSU over Florida, 68-65. And then entire LSU first team declares for the NBA draft.

LSU is going to win the whole thing. Geaux Tigers!

C'mon, UCLA uglified my Memphis boyz, so they need to be taken down. And someone's gotta pull for the underdog... my call is George Mason takin' it all, baby!

Check out what the Mighty Gators did to those Tigers in the SEC tourney. This is my Gators' year! And to top it off we will win the title by beating LSU. That makes it even sweeter. :)

I've just returned from getting crunk (thanks for that Joe) and I'm getting ready to observe UCLA drop it like its hot.

73-58! Bring on the second place team. Go Gators!

This might have been the most boring night of Final Four basketball I've seen. UCLA is making LSU look shameful, and Florida was tough.
Posted by: Steve McCoy | 04/01/2006 at 09:30 PM
Well, rats.

LSU over UCLA? Hhmm.
Sure was fun watching UCLA absolutely dismantle LSU anad make them look silly. That was the largest deficit LSU has had in the entire tourny. UCLA has held everyone to under 60 points.
Hhhmm. UCLA over Florida.

and this, folks, is why i don't bet on sports (or anything).

UCLA was on fire. Florida was not, but still won solidly. So as UCLA comes back to earth and Florida plays as well or better, I still think Florida wins.

I'm an athletic cessationist: I beleive the gift of prophecy is no longer operative in relation to sporting events.

I'll probably pull for UCLA- though I pick Florida.

I thought LSU would edge UCLA too. Hopefully tomorrow night's game will be one to remember (unlike Saturday's games).
Posted by: Ted Gossard | 04/02/2006 at 09:57 PM
UCLA.
Posted by: Scott Zeller | 04/02/2006 at 11:39 PM
Yeah, at this point I would settle for a fun game no matter who wins. But I'm definitely pulling for Florida.

Well, my prediction of the champion of the Final Four was on, and big time. Florida controlled UCLA. I'm really shocked at the lack of down-to-the-wire games in Indy. At least FL was fun to watch. Good for them.
