This is a day late because my Grandmother, Olive Kipfer, passed away on Friday, June 23rd, 2006. I was able to take my wife and four kids to see her on Thursday and she passed away at 4am on Friday at 94 years old. I took this picture last December (another is here).
We all loved her very much. She had 3 kids, 10 grandkids, 17 great grandkids, and one great great granddaughter. She lived a full life and never one time neglected to tell us that she was praying for us.
What a gift to have God's love and life in your heritage. Losing someone is always a little painful, even when you know they are going to a full reward. I'll be praying for you all. I'm glad you got to see her once again.
Back when you posted her photo originally, my girls thought she was adorable - "like she could be in the movies".

Death is always a painful time, but what a privelege to have a woman like your grandmother a part of your life. May her example be a challenge to all who know of her.
Our prayers are with you.
May God's blessings be evident in your life.

What a blessing to know that you grandmother was always praying for you. I know that feeling as well. I know that everyday she lifts my name and family up to the Lord in her prayers.

Sorry for your loss. I'll be praying for you and your family. I'll also pray that the Lord uses this to open doors of ministry to family members you haven't connected with in a few years.

Dear Brother Steve,
Thanks for sharing this. I'm glad your family had a visit before she went on.
Love in Christ,
Jeff

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I know it is hard to lose a grand-parent, my grandpa died last December (he was not a Christian). It sounds like you have found comfort in knowing that your Grandmother is rejoicing up in Heaven.
