This is my nephew hiding safely between his mother's legs. My dad was spraying water in the backyard and he was trying to stay as dry as possible. I think it turned out beautifully in sepia. Another similar photograph.

Boy howdy, Steve, that's a beautiful picture. Is that camera permanently connected to your face so you can catch these fleeting moments? Perhaps surgically implanted into your eyes so that all you have to do is think "click! Sepia!"??
Nice work. The other version is great too, but this one...

Steve,
Great pics as usual man! I love the one with your 5-year old son. Capturing the water and all looks awesome.
What camera do you use and how much did it cost? What camera would u suggest I buy in order to capture pictures like that. I want to get more in photography.

Jeremy, I have a Nikon D50 (a digital SLR). All my photography gear links are down the right sidebar. I highly suggest a digital SLR if you want crisp pics with the ability to do the best post-processing (tweaking the pic with software).
This stuff isn't cheap as you'll notice when you look for prices. I've spent over $1000 on stuff and still don't have some things I need. But I don't regret a dollar of it. It's a fantastic art form and I enjoy it very much. Plus it's connecting me with many others in my community and elsewhere.
