It wouldn't work for me, but Sprint's new HTC Touch might be a nice phone for those who can't afford an iPhone.
As the father of an autistic son, I take notice when pediatricians urge autism screening for all children. We know our son would have been diagnosed sooner (he was diagnosed at just about 3 years old) because the symptoms were there. The article says they urge screening because "early therapy can lessen its severity." We can testify that therapy greatly helped our son, and we urge parents of autistic children to find similar therapy all the time.

I'm going to see Gone Baby Gone this week. It's getting great reviews.
Steve,
Just wanted to put my $.02 in and say that Gone Baby Gone was a great movie (save the language). It is fraught with ethical implications that I found very thought provoking.

You and I already chatted about this - the movie is easily one of the top 5 of '07 for me, and certainly the hardest movie of the year.

I looked at the HTC touch. It's funny none of the phones make it easy to figure out issues like how will this synch with outlook? Or can I or can I not enter calendar items on the mobile and have them synch up. Treos & other smart phones do that. I keep looking for something smaller that would. This thing may be every bit as huge as my Treo. I don't know.

Hey RLP. I depend far too much on my Palm applications and using QWERTY to use the HTC Touch. But it's cool. Actually I just bought the Sprint Centro which is essentially a smaller Treo. Liking it so far.
