Have you browsed the ESV Literary Study Bible yet? I have a copy. Enjoying it so far. Should have some thoughts on it late this week or after our vacation in a couple of weeks.
By the way, have I mentioned my family is going to Disney World? Woohoo! My Great Aunt died and left money to my Mom (who died in April). So that went to me, my brother and my sister. We knew there would be little or no opportunity to hit Disney for years to come and decided that we, after a very long and difficult summer, could use a pretty serious break. So next week we head to Orlando. Very excited, but not nearly as much as our kids. God has provided so much for us in a very strapped period of life. We are so thankful. I'm sure photos and videos are to come.
After a long and difficult summer you are going to go to Disney World? Talk about a long, stressful, difficult end to that summer ;-)

Hope you have a great time.
My kids( age 8, 6 and 2 ) preferred SeaWorld to Disneyworld.
You can get a free beer (or 2) at SeaWorld as well!

Yea, I second the Sea World recommendation. My family and I were there a couple of weeks ago. If you go check out the dolphin show. It rocked!

Enjoy WDW... & check out The Unofficial Guide to WDW 2007 from the library before you go. The touring plans look nutty but they save LOTS of time waiting in line.

Thanks all. We have some of the books and guides and have found them very helpful. We aren't doing Sea World, but may change our plans for the free beer alone! ;) We are staying at the resort as well.

The free beer at Sea World is true. They do that in SA too. Even though I know you pay a bunch to get in, the free beer always feels very extravagant to me.
Have fun in Disney. We went two years ago. My favorite thing about it--was that everybody in Disney World is a tourist. So I could embrace my dorkiness.
I'll pray that you have a grand old time!

Steve,
You guys in USA should know, but seem to recall that when you went in to Sea world you can register at a booth just inside, and it gives you the opportunity of returning ( i think within 2 weeks) for free.
It means you can do Sea World one day, and come back another evening, as the Shamu Show ( and he rocks !!!) can be seen in daytime and under floodlights.
...as well as getting free beer twice!!

Steve, my family and I (wife + 2 kids age 5 and 2) live in Florida and visit WDW about 5 times per year. Between the parks and the resorts it can be a big, intimidating place...the more you know, the better your experience. I have absolutely no affiliation with the following sites, but do visit them regularly: www.allears.net and www.wdwinfo.com. They have tons of great information on all the parks, resorts, restaurants, etc...

Thanks Alex. I'll check those sites out.
