As I mentioned before, I am the artist featured for the month of October at our local Starbucks. Very glad to have six of my photos (the first six shown) on the wall for all to see. I have Moo cards in a couple of places in Starbucks that give my email and Flickr page for those interested in my photos. They are already more than half gone after two days (I think I put out 100)! Pretty cool.
This is really cool--seems like a great way to build new relationships with those in the community.

This is what we talked about a couple years ago man! How awesome. Your photos are very good, and God is great!

That is such an honor! My wife (and I to a very small degree) have been playing around with pictures. I bought her a love gift of an XTi ... and my wife is very artistic - it is so neet seeing her blossom in this area.

Great - I love your photos, congrats on getting them shown in Starbucks.
I got my moo cards a few weeks back - everyone I gave them to on my recent USA trip loved them; I was surprised Drew Goodmanson hadn't seen moo cards before :)

Nice!! Where did you get your frames? Are those 8x10's?

I'm a very amateur photo buff ... how/where do you make your larger prints?

Cool beans, Steve. Let me know when to book the NIles Gallery at UK for you. I'll even get a band to play for the opening night.

Thanks all.
The frames are just cheap Hobby Lobby frames. They looked fine, so we found no reason to go broke trying to frame up some photos. Frames (even cheaper ones) can be expensive. Yikes. The photos are 8x10's that I printed through Flickr: some at Target, some through mail order.
Next time I get to do this I'm considering doing larger photos. My uncle printed out some larger photos for my Mom's funeral and they looked really good.

Gotta love the Hoby Lobby :) Great photo's you say your wife uses an XTi, is that a Canon Rebel?
What do you shot with Steve?
One of our intown hip breakfast dinners is partaking in a local art experience. They print in color a photo on the front of a dinner mate with a description on the back so people can choose to put their plates on them or just take the mate with them...pretty neat idea. Thanks for mentioning the moo cards as well. Tony Stiff @ setsnservice

Tony, Randy said his wife has an XTi. My wife uses a stove and a curling iron. :) I use a Nikon d50, a low end digital SLR.
