Good to hang for a couple of hours with Darryl Dash of DashHouse last night. He is in a city just north of me for a conference and decided to look me up, so we found some time for coffee....

Spiritual Disciplines: Abstinence & Engagement
The skulls on that shirt represent a culture of death and a generation's dismissal of the severity, finality and curse of death. Your wearing it demonstrates that you continue to go beyond cultural engagement into a kind of sick syncretism. I guess it's all okay in the name of being missional. A real friend would have picked you up a a nice coffee mug, or a calendar.

Josef, for me the skulls represent the bodies of our ancestors, the faithful who have gone before us. Oh, and Satan too.

Ear X-tacy is freakin Eden for me, man. I could spend hours in there - or so i think. I usually get in there once or twice a year and once i'm there i can't remember "those records" i wanted to buy!
UGH!!

Ear X-tacy is the pride of Louisville's music community, when it comes to record stores. So yeah, pretty good friend. Because friends don't let friends where shirts from record stores that are less than stellar.

I just typed "where" when I meant to type "wear." And it's only 8 am. It's going to be a long day.

Whenever I'm in Lvl I have to stop at Ear X-tacy. I usually pick up 4-8 CD's. I've yet to find a music store that compares.
