Rethink Mission: Books Every Church Planter Needs to Read
I connected at the Acts 29 Boot Camp in Louisville with a guy I met a years ago at Capitol Hill BC in DC, Brad Byrd. I stayed at his house when visiting CHBC. He gave me a copy of The Gospel-Centred Church workbook by Steve Timmis and Tim Chester from the press he works for, The Good Book Company. Hope to review it soon. I should also be getting The Gospel-Centred Life soon for review. Find The Good Book Company on Facebook & Twitter. Glad to connect again Brad!
Thanks for the great links, Steve. Just downloaded the audiobook version of Deep Church via iTunes. : )

Unfortunately, this kind of review is common from Gilbert.

We (our church small group) went through "The Gospel Centred Church" last fall to re-orient our group to Gospel-Community-Mission ... then Spring sememster we went through "The Prodigal God" ... now we're in Tim Chester's Good Book Co. "The Coming King" (8 lessons from the Gospel of Mark. Why am I blathering on about this? Because the flow ended up working very well. We got thinking very Gospel-Community-Mission-y from the first book, then got a dose of Gospel through our Christian Yoda, then went into Chester's very gospel-y deep and very missional study of Mark. Our little community is really being transformed.
