I want everyone to check out The Black Keys, if you haven't. I already gave links to for the stream of their new album and a $5 download of Thickfreakness. This blues-rock band is a favorite for me because of songs like "Just Got To Be." BOOM!
Joanna Newsom makes remarkable music on her new album, Have One On Me. Her recent visit to Jools Holland should be proof enough for you. Watch, and listen to the lyrics of "'81," which may also mean "A.D 1."
Steve, music Monday sets the tone for my week, because of you the Black Keys will be blasting through my head all week.
Thanks for your faithful service, your music Mondays have a fan base down here at Covenant seminary.

I too had a hankering for some good blues rock, and the keys hit the spot. :) Being new to the "secular" music scene, your posts have been well appreciated. (I've lived a sheltered "christian only" life, of which I'm still repenting of. haha) anyway, Thanks!
also wanted to share some new tunes with you, now, I haven't seen much hiphop posted on here, and I don't blame you because there's alot of terrible crap out there, but I'll still offer to you Shad's newest album TSOL that comes out on tues. Spinner had the whole album up and its pretty fun, and audibly and lyrically.

Very cool, Joshua. Glad to pass on the word. Listening to Black Keys now actually. I'll check out Shad. Thanks.
