Detroit Lives

A really great look at Detroit. Anyone interested in cities, suburban sprawl, culture, art and creativity needs to watch all three parts. One of the coolest things I've ever seen on these topics.

Growing up in inner-city Detroit, I somewhat can appreciate what the makers of the documentary were trying to achieve...which was, "Hey, young bohemian people - move into the 3 mile by 3 mile radius of Detroit that is kind of experiencing renewal."

If any city in America needs spiritual and economic renewal, it's Detroit! But I tell you what, the "remnant" of Detroit is die hard. There's a strong spirit there.
