If you haven't heard, John Corapi, one of the most popular Catholic Priests out there and one of the compelling preachers influencing Catholics and Protestants, has not only been suspended as a Priest because of some accusations, but has now decided to leave the priesthood on his own. I make no judgment as to the truth of the accusations, but Protestants need to keep up with things like this as we have many Catholics around us who love Corapi.
There's lots of info out there, but in his own words it's "The Black SheepDog"...
He has a cool graphic.

It is interesting. He's gotten some criticism on it, too.

You will always be Father Corapi to me even though I am not Catholic. I have listened to you every week for about two years and have benefited greatly from your words of truth and knowledge. You are greatly missed by many. God bless and may He give you another avenue to reach out to us.

Times of God are not our times. Sometimes Devil enjoy's to take important catholic souls, as Corapi´s soul. He´s been an important Catholic reference for a lot of people; his work has been great. I won´t judge Father Corapi (He doesn´t sign as "Father" anymore, have you seen that?) but I feel that he made a great mistake leaving us... ...Jesus asked us to be joined as "ONE"; the CHURCH is the Body of Christ; so, if you're not parto of His Body, you can´t join Him... ...It´s that simple.
Father Corapi might be so sad and angry too but he had to take more time to the time before leaving the Body of Christ. He may say that he hasn´t left the Catholic Church but the truth is that he did it.
I am so sad about this and hope that he get back to The Body of Christ so soon; the whole Church will be waiting for him.

He will always be a father to me too and I pray that you come back to us!
He is one of those voices that we unfortunately do not have anymore. He's been so important in my life I miss him dearly

Matthew Chapter 23
Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples, saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees have taken their seat on the chair of Moses. Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice."
Sad, but still true today. We just need to remember not to reject St. Peter and the other apostles because of Judas. Also, "the gates of hell will not prevail" against God's Church (Matt. 16-19).
